Privacy notice
For Founding Farm applications and the waitlist. Last updated 27 October 2026.
This notice covers this website: the Founding Farm application and the waitlist. The Pasture Keeper app will have its own privacy policy when signup opens. If anything here is unclear, email hello@pasturekeeper.com and a real person (Jeremy) will answer.
Who we are
Pasture Keeper is run by Jeremy Hill and family at Gooseberry Bridge Farm, 177 Elm Grove Rd, Rogersville, MO 65742.
What we collect
- If you apply: your name, email address, farm name, state, time zone, the animals you keep and roughly how many, how you keep records now, your answers about technology and feedback, how you heard about us, and the boxes you ticked.
- If you join the waitlist: your email address.
- Where you came from: if you arrived through a link with a tag in it (for example from our Instagram, or a friend's referral link), we save that tag with your application or signup, so we know which links work. Your browser keeps it for up to 30 days.
We don't ask for payment details here. Selected Founding Farms sign up later through a separate checkout.
Why we collect it
- To read your application and choose a mix of Founding Farms.
- To email you about your application, whether or not you're selected.
- To send you Pasture Keeper news, only if you joined the waitlist or ticked the box asking for it. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
We will never sell your information or share it with advertisers.
Where it's kept
- Google Workspace (a Google Sheet and our email): every application and waitlist signup. Only Jeremy and Staci can open it.
- EmailOctopus (our email newsletter service): only if you joined the waitlist or asked for news. We give it your email address, name, farm name, state and where you came from, nothing else from your application.
- Cloudflare runs this website. Its Turnstile check helps keep robots out of the forms, and its web analytics counts visits without cookies and without following you around the web.
How long we keep it
Applications are kept while we're choosing Founding Farms. If you're not selected, we delete your application within 12 months after the Founding Farm program fills, unless you ask us to keep you in mind. Waitlist signups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
Your choices
You can ask to see what we have about you, correct it, or delete it at any time by emailing hello@pasturekeeper.com. To stop our emails, use the unsubscribe link in any of them.
Age
The application and waitlist are for adults 18 and over.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll email you first.
